A reveal and a mystery

I have been busy sewing the Bonnie Hunter blocks and am really pleased with them! Here is a sneak preview of mine.
I've decided to make a few more blocks so that it will be a 4x5 block arrangement, which will make a very credible lap quilt. The strange thing is that when I finished sewing the churn dash blocks, I had a red half square triangle left over. Just one.
Now since I have made the triangles with the diagonal line method, there should be another one somewhere! Do half square triangles en masse behave like socks, and are taken by the fairies? Anyone else have this problem?

Oh it looks amazing Lynda...what a fabulous job you've done!!

As for the missing HST...bet it's on the bottom of someone's shoe or something...

I really like the finished effect of this quilt. I may have to store away a linky.....

I have a huge bag of HST's Every so often I dig them out and sew a few. One day I'll have enough to make something, either that or I'll get fed up and send them to Linus.. :-)

Love it Lynda - it looks fabulous and I'm sure you'll do some equally fab quilting on that to make it look amazing. Well done you.

I definitely have this problem - one block goes missing from just about everything I make. The worst was when I lost 10 blocks I had pinned together. I found them eventually - after I had remade another ten......

Looks great. I'm sure th other HST will turn up eventually. Mine always end up on the floor under my table.

Love and hugs Gina xxx
