Christmas

Christmas is coming rather quickly. I always like to make some fabric Christmas cards, and this is the first one. It's for DD and her house mates, and it's a design from 'A Christmas Story' by Anni Downs. The idea is that they can have a bit of fun, swapping name tags from Nice to Naughty as the mood takes them.

I don't know whether they will just stand it up or hang it, but I put fabric corners on the back so they could put a stick or something in it if they want.

I've never tried this before, but they were so easy, I'll definitely be using them again.

i love the naughty and nice touch! Wouldn't it be fun to sew one persons name under the naughty sign, as if they were permanently naughty :)
very cute! I know you said it was a Christmas card, but how big was it exactly?

Great postcard! I am working on some of these myself. I think they are a terrific idea! I want to send them through the mail, but I have never done that before. Do you mail yours?

What a lovely idea Lynda - I am particularly fond of things with a 'naughty but nice' feel to them. My sister would love one of those.

Our household is rather enamoured with it and we are trying to look for reasons to put someone on the Naughty Button, the more spurrious, the better. Why I was on there for the photograph, I have no idea - I can only assume it was some kind of terrible mistake.

I've been so good, I think I deserve a magical pony...
